***We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead our passionate culinary team at RFL Property Services Ltd***
This role will be based at our Royal Free London NHS Hospital site in Hampstead working in the Private Patients Unit (PPU). As a Head Chef you will be able to demonstrate effective leadership ability in a kitchen environment, a passion for innovation and 5* culinary skills.
Reporting into the Executive Chef this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the PPU kitchen team ensuring a high standard of food production and service to patients on the private wardassisting in their recovery and wellbeing.
The successful post holder will be required to:
Plan innovative, cost effective seasonal menus in line with agreed budgets and considering all dietary needs
Develop and motivate the kitchen team to create an inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive
Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and other relevant policies, making recommendations for improvements as required
What you need to have:
Relevant level 3 or higher qualification plus knowledge acquired through training and experience to diploma equivalent level.
Advanced Food Hygiene certification
Proven experience of effectively managing a team
Desirable but not essential - Leadership Management qualification level 3 and previous experience of working in a healthcare setting
