Communications Manager

Three month FTC to support our best in class global client, based in Peterborough as Internal Communications Manager.
Reporting into the Communications Director, you will hold kick off some key projects, and hold the reins on others, whilst the business awaits the onboarding of the permanent Internal Communications Manager.
You must be immediately available and demonstrate a previous track record in delivering the internal communications strategy in alignment with business strategy. You will take ownership for:

• Town halls, colleague magazines, social media channels building fit for purpose, engaging content for your internal audience.
• Managing relationships with external agencies to ensure all KPIs are delivered in full, and on time.
• Maintaining content on the intrant and company website.
• Providing concise, purposeful and relevant advice as trusted advisor and critical friend to the Communications Director and SLT.

You will have previous experience, ideally within an interim or fixed term contract position, in landing quickly, assimilating the culture, values and philosophies of an organisation and quickly taking ownership of key channels ensuring relevant content, tone of voice and high levels of engagement.
Ideally you will have worked with content management systems such as share point, and have experience working within a global, multicultural, matrixed business.
You will be generously remunerated and have flexibility to work from anywhere, assuming you are able to attend the office for two days pw. (Peterborough based).
