Generator Support Operator – Dungannon – Up to £30,000   Our client has grown to become one of the UK and Ireland’s leading equipment rental companies. They are now looking to recruit an experienced GENERATOR SUPPORT OPERATOR based at their busy site just outside of Dungannon.   Your primary responsibility will be to perform pre-hire inspections and off-hiring procedures for a range of equipment, including generators of all sizes, cables, distribution units, bunded fuel tanks, static and mobile lighting towers, and VMS boards. You will also assist in workshop activities and provide support for events when necessary.   Generator Support Operator - The Rewards Competitive Salary Shop discount Employee incentive scheme Length of service policy Charity and company events Communication forum 28 days annual leave incl. bank/public holidays   Generator Support Operator - Requirements & Responsibilities Previous experience in equipment rental, generator operations, or a related field is preferred Conduct thorough prehire inspections of generators, fuel tanks, lighting towers, and VMS boards to ensure they meet safety and operational standards. Manage the off-hiring process, including the return and inspection of equipment from clients, ensuring that equipment is in good condition for the next rental. Program and configure Variable Message Signs (VMS) boards as required for specific projects or events. Assist in the workshop with maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment to keep it in optimal condition. Provide support for events that require equipment setup, maintenance, or technical assistance, ensuring a smooth operation. Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, servicing, and off-hiring procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines while handling and inspecting equipment.
