About the Opportunity: The Director of Account Management is a critical leadership position responsible for driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of the account management function. This role focuses on identifying and executing steps to exceed revenue targets while maintaining Gross Profit (GP) standards. The Director will work throughout Europe and will lead high-level client engagements, pursue significant growth opportunities, and act as a resource to ensure seamless project execution. This position requires a strong emphasis on strategic planning, team development, and collaboration with executive leadership to shape the organization's future. What You’ll Do: Revenue Growth and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, including identifying new client opportunities across different offices and practice areas. Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring alignment with GP standards and making data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability. Strategic Growth: Proactively identify and pursue significant growth opportunities beyond day-to-day projects, leveraging market insights and client feedback. Establish a framework for regular follow-up on identified opportunities to ensure timely and effective engagement. Team Management and Development: Manage and mentor Senior Account Managers, ensuring that team-specific objectives are met and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Collaborate with the Executive Leader to forecast staffing needs and identify hiring requirements to support team growth and client demands. Cross-Functional Resource and Support: Serve as a key resource for all teams on various projects, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, aligning resources to meet client objectives and enhance service delivery. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 8-10 years of experience in account management, client services, or business development, with a strong background in a market research or related industry. Willingness and capability for considerable travel across Europe to visit clients, particularly management consulting firms in major cities. Additional non-English language capability is a plus, especially in German or French. Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking capabilities with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences at all levels. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects and initiatives simultaneously.
