1:1 Teaching Assistant

Empowering Learning are looking to hear from 1:1 Teaching Assistant's, you will be working in Mainstream settings in Teesside however, we do have a SEN team with opportunities to work in a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Alternative Provision schools. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Teaching Assistants looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Providing support to students with a range of special educational needs. Assisting with classroom activities, including one-on-one support and group work. Promoting inclusion and a positive learning environment. Working closely with teachers and other school staff to meet the individual needs of the child. Maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment. Adapting to different school settings and environments. Requirements: Relevant experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a Mainstream setting however experience of working in a SEN or Alternative Provision is advantageous. A passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
