A client of ours in the Harlow area are recruiting a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and paying £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This role will cover the payroll function for a group of 6 companies with roughly 400 people on the payroll in total, including a mixture of wages and salaries so experience with high volume is essential. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, key duties include but are not limited to: Collate all required payroll data on a monthly basis to provide to the third-party service providers. Analyse payroll data obtained to identify any discrepancies or potential errors Manage the third party service providers in delivering timely and accurate payrolls across all companies Manage the development of the payroll process Consolidate the number of PAYE schemes across the Group Assist with the production of all UK statutory filing requirements including P11D and PSA returns Provide management reports and analysis when required Supporting the production and posting of the Nominal Ledger payroll accounts Ensuring that controls are consistently executed and change control is applied appropriately Keeping accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with HMRC and GDPR requirements Provide payroll data to third party service provider by agreed timelines Reduce number of PAYE schemes across the Group Improve the process of collating payroll data, specifically timesheet and overtime data Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Payroll Coordinator position: Payroll experience essential Working experience is using accountancy systems such as Sage payroll would be beneficial Prior experience of managing third party payroll provider's Diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent Analytical/data driven Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Great Benefits to working for this company include: AE pension after 3 months On site parking Birthday leaver after probation Simply health cash plan after probation (inc wellbeing discounts) 20 days holiday + bank holidays If you feel like you meet the above criteria & would like to be considered for this Payroll Coordinator position, please apply with your CV and contact Katie at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat. #accountsjobs
