My client is looking to recruit an Environmental Compliance Manager ideally with experience in a Waste Management environment, however they will consider applicants from all backgrounds. They are an industry leading Waste company, that specialises in offering their clients an excellent waste management service at a great value, all the while recycling and repurposing the waste, to ensure we all have a sustainable future.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Environmental Compliance across the Group, provide environmental advice to sales, operations, and transport teams, develop and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems and assist with site monitoring and audits.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Environmental Specialist, looking to progress and excel within a leading Waste company in Wrexham.

The Role:
Overseeing Environmental Compliance across the Group
Develop and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
Assist with site monitoring and audits.
The Candidate:
Proven experience working in an environmental capacity, ideally in waste management or similar industries
Understanding and competence with ISO 14001 and, ideally, ISO 9001 implementation
The capacity to understand soil contamination studies or waste characterisation
