The Company

• My client are a Specialist Subcontractor, with a reputable name in the industry.
• Works include Cladding & Roofing.
• My client work on a variety of prestigious buildings and bespoke projects, both in the UK and overseas, predominately commercial and residential.
• HQ based in Essex / Herts border.

The Role - Construction Programmer

Duties:

• Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work (both in pre-contract and post contract stages)
• Producing progress reports and revising programmes and forecasts for team members using planning programme software (Microsoft Project or Asta)
• Breaking large projects down into phases of development
• Using project management tools to plan timeframes
• Working with Estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
• Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
• Meeting with contractors and suppliers and discuss and review programme issues and discussions

You will have a strong knowledge of the construction industry (mainly with roofing and fa ade works)
