Position : Foundry Pattern Maker
Location : Sheffield
Salary : 25,000 - 35,000

About the role :-
Working in a foundry you will work on a range of projects from small batch to one-offs. You will need an eye for detail and be committed to delivering high quality patterns to allow for the creation of accurate castings.
About the job :-
Construct patterns from technical drawings
Patterns and moulds may be made from wood, ceramics and composite materials
Repairs to existing patterns
Investigate discrepancies
Ensure accuracy of patterns
Apply paint or sealant as necessary
Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, identifying any defects
Skills and Experience
Good verbal communication skills
Punctuality and good attendance
Experience as a Pattern Maker is very much preferred
Experience of operating small manual and hand power tools plus workshop machinery where necessary
