Toolmaker

Toolmaker Milton Keynes – Day Shift £30-40,000pa T2M Resourcing are working with a growing engineering business to recruit a Toolmaker to join their manufacturing and machining team. As a Toolmaker you will take ownership of tooling modifications, fabrications, and repair to production tooling. Key duties of a Toolmaker: * Tooling fabrication, modification, maintenance and repair. * Work closely with tooling deign and manufacturing engineers. * Stripping down and investing tooling faults. * Manual machining and mechanical assembly. * Complete required documentation and reports on tooling and machined components. * Complete training on new equipment such as 3D printers and CNC machines. Requirements to be successful as a Toolmaker: * Previous experience as a Toolmaker. * Technical education or apprenticeship in Engineering, Manufacturing or Toolmaking. * Confident in manual machining with milling, turning, and grinding. * Able to read technical and fabrication drawings. * Beneficial would be skills in welding, CAD software, and quality inspection. Due to their location, a driving license is preferred but not essential if you live locally in Milton Keynes.
