Our client is a community-facing, people-first business that delivers, manages and maintains communities and places - including multi-tenure housing, schools, open spaces, public and private buildings, retail schemes, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, utilities and broadband networks - as well as a range of complementary employment andhous wellbeing outcomes.
Job description for Facilities Manager
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
Salary: £35k to 40k (depnding on experience)
Location: Exeter, EX2
Objectives of this role:
Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments
Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
Handle insurance contracts
Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocolResponsibilities:
Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
Run routine maintenance inspections
Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
Support maintenance and installment work as neededRequirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience
