Role – Assistant Landscape Architect Location – Bristol Salary - £26 - £28 K We a looking for an Assistant Landscape Architect for a leading international design practice of architects, engineers, designers, and urbanists. With a commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable design, they collaborate across disciplines to create inspiring, sustainable spaces that have a lasting positive impact on communities, cities, and the environment. Their award-winning projects range from public spaces and urban landscapes to master planning and detailed residential design. The successful Assistant Landscape Architect will support the delivery of creative and sustainable landscape architecture solutions across a variety of high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will work alongside senior landscape architects, urban designers, and engineers to produce innovative and sustainable designs that contribute to the companys reputation for excellence in the built environment. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES * Assisting in the development and delivery of high-quality landscape design projects from concept to completion * Supporting the preparation of design proposals, concept plans, and technical drawings using Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software * Conducting site analysis, research, and reporting to inform project development. * Participating in the creation of planting designs, master planning, and detailed landscape design * Collaborating with architects, urban planners, and engineers to ensure landscape elements integrate seamlessly into overall project designs * Attending site visits and client meetings to gather information and support design adjustments * Assisting with the preparation of presentations, client proposals, and tender documents * Keeping updated on industry trends, environmental sustainability practices, and emerging design technologies * Contributing to the development of environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * A degree in Landscape Architecture * A passion for creating sustainable and innovative landscape designs * Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS tools * Strong graphic and presentation skills with the ability to visually communicate design concepts * Knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and horticulture * Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines * A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills * Enthusiasm for sustainability and ecological design principles * Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment * Previous internship or work experience in a landscape architecture company is an advantage ON OFFER * Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance and pension schemes * The opportunity to work on iconic and impactful international projects * A supportive and collaborative working environment with industry-leading professionals * A collaborative studio environment with lots of social activities * Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning. * Payment of professional subscription fees TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE A DEGREE IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITETURE AND HAVE FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK THE NEXT STEP If you are interested in hearing more about this Assistant Landscape Architect role or any other similar opportunities, please click apply, upload your CV and we will contact you.
