Are you based in the KIRKWALL area?Do you have a passion for working with people?Do you have a knowledge of Construction products with experience pricing up jobs?Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe,is on the hunt for an Sales Estimator who's as passionate about great service as we are.Hours8am – 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12Location: Kirkwall, KW15 1GGKey ResponsibilitiesSupporting customer with projects, providing accurate estimates to secure new businessGet to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson valuesDevelop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possibleProcessing of purchase, sales and stock transactions by company proceduresNegotiating with customers and suppliersWork with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvementWhat’s in it for you?Retirement Savings Plan (Pension) – with Legal & GeneralLife Assurance - From your first day of employment with us you are automatically covered for a lump-sum death in service benefit of 2 x your basic salary.
