Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at The Weir Bar in Brentford. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing and training staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, managing budgets and financials, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies. Qualifications Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industryExcellent leadership and people management skillsStrong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktailsAbility to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guestsExperience in staff hiring, training, and schedulingStrong organizational and time management skillsUnderstanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and handle challenging situationsKnowledge of health and safety regulationsExperience in event planning and coordination is a plus
