Construction Estimator

Job Title: Construction Estimator Location: Remote, with travel to sites and the Eastleigh office Salary: £55,000 + Car Allowance Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Company Pension, Private Healthcare, Flexible Benefits Scheme Are you an experienced Construction Estimator looking for an exciting new opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join a growing team, where you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of a wide range of construction projects. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed building estimates for a range of projects, including mission-critical solutions. * Develop innovative approaches to meet client requirements, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor methodologies. * Compile and submit detailed proposals, conducting option appraisals and identifying commercially viable project delivery methods. * Collaborate with subcontractors to obtain accurate costs and build strong working relationships. * Attend site visits and client meetings across the UK as part of the bid process. * Support the continuous improvement of management procedures and operational efficiencies to maximise profitability. * Contribute to the generation of business development reports and assist in progressing submitted tenders. * Identify cost-saving initiatives and provide proactive, meaningful reports to clients. Skills & Experience: * Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. * Previous experience in estimating within a main contractor, ideally on data centre projects or mission-critical solutions. * Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel regularly to customer sites.
