Our client are a privately-owned, North West based construction business delivering projects throughout the UK. They operate across a multitude of sectors including civil engineering, construction, nuclear, demolition, concrete, energy, housing, and utilities.

They are looking to recruit an Assistant Planner to join their team. Experience within Asta and Microsoft Projects is beneficial.

Duties to include assisting the Senior Planning team with the below:

  • Identifying the planning scope including constraints; major quantities and contract requirements
  • Preparing, reviewing and maintaining fully resourced programmes including appraising the outcomes for conformance with expectations and requirements
  • Preparing visual material in support of planned methods
  • Preparing resource schedules for appraisal at tender reviews and on an ongoing basis for secured contracts
  • Assisting by providing the requisite information in relation to progress reports, project delays and forecasting
  • Working closely with the estimating and delivery
