Junior QA Tester An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Financial Services company in London as a Junior QA Tester. If you have more than one year's experience as a QA tester, and experience in test automation, we'd love to hear from you! Location: London; Onsite. Salary: £30,000-£40,000 Key Responsibilities: Develop test cases based on user acceptance criteria for various stories. Execute test cases and conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues. Document and escalate any issues found during testing. Ensure the final product aligns with product requirements and meets user expectations. Maintain and enhance test suites to improve coverage and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Actively participate in all phases of product development, providing feedback and insights. Generate reports on testing outcomes to inform stakeholders. Adhere to established quality standards throughout the testing process. Communicate regularly with technical teams and key stakeholders, providing updates on progress and ensuring all requirements are met. Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Proficient in writing test cases, preferably using a test management tool. Experience testing web applications and accurately logging, retesting, and resolving issues. Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira. Experience with documentation tools like Confluence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Open-minded and receptive to feedback, with a willingness to explore new ideas. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle. Bonus Points: Experience with automation testing and tools such as Cypress or Selenium. ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent qualification. Competence in producing clear documentation, both in code and user manuals. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and effective communication abilities. Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while being open to new ideas and constructive feedback.
