Children's Mentor

Are you looking to work with children who have additional needs and mentoring in the right direction? Then this role is for you. Sennen Education are working in partnership with a school in Salford supporting children and young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health. You will not only be working with them to help them progress in life and independence but also their attitude and willingness to do better. Every child will be different, and you will need to adapt your approach accordingly. You could be working with a child 1:1 or a group of children who have a history of childhood trauma, dysregulated behaviour or may have additional learning needs. This is an extremely rewarding role where you can build meaningful relationships. As such, all post holders are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
