CTO (B2B SaaS) Remote with occasional travel to London Salary: £150,000 to £200,000 bonus and equity EP001 Job Summary: Finatal has partnered with a rapidly scaling SaaS business in their search for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As the CTO you’ll be responsible for defining the company's technological vision, strategy, and execution. Whilst also driving innovation, overseeing the technical aspects of the company, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves managing development teams, scaling systems, and optimizing the technology infrastructure to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. Operating in a PE environment you will regularly meet with the fund to report on business growth and how the Technology roadmap is aiding to the overarching value creation model. Key Responsibilities: · Define and implement the company’s technological roadmap in alignment with business goals. · Ensure the organization continues to modernize best practices and legacy technologies · Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to drive business growth. · Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve internal processes and customer experiences. · Oversee all product development processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. · Collaborate with product teams to develop new features and products that enhance customer value. · Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals. · Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment. · Ensure that technical infrastructure, including cloud systems, databases, and security protocols, are optimized for performance and scalability. · Collaborate closely with other C-level executives to integrate technology into business strategies. · Communicate complex technical concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders. · Assist in budgeting and forecasting for technology expenditures. · Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy policies. · Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard company assets and customer data. · Conduct regular security audits and assessments to mitigate risks. Experience: · A proven background working as a CTO in a PE backed business (VC can be considered) · Experience in scaling technology operations in a fast-growing company or startup environment. · Strong background in software development, systems architecture, and infrastructure management. · An understanding of how tobring new innovative Product to market · Previous experience in leading a Product team would be preferred · Expertise in cloud computing, microservices architecture, DevOps, and modern software development methodologies. · Proficiency in programming languages and platforms (e.g., Python, Java, AWS, Azure, etc.). · Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
