The Role

We’re on the hunt for an Account Director to join our rapidly expanding team. As a social agency, no day is the same. You’ve probably read ‘fast-paced’ a lot on these job boards, but we’re about to say it again: it’s a fast-paced environment, but that also means faster learnings, more experiences and quicker development. We genuinely want to help you progress as much as you want to.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, attend, and lead client meetings.
  • Work closely with clients to develop their creative and social media vision.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, making internal recommendations to grow client accounts.
  • Lead on new business pitches and proposals alongside senior account management specialists.
  • Track financial performance of your accounts and make recommendations on improving scope.
  • Help establish new account management processes and procedures and present those to the team.
  • Manage existing client accounts and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Work to anticipate upcoming needs and hurdles and be proactive with your clients.
  • Present agency work and presentations in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Liaise with other departments including creative, strategy, and paid media specialists to support the delivery of client projects.
  • Demonstrate good creative judgement and take responsibility for the highest standard of creative output.
  • Prepare succinct creative briefs for other departments, and develop memos, briefs, and other documents at client request or supporting senior accounts specialists.
  • Manage the budget and timings on your projects.
  • Work proactively to prepare detailed scoping documents.
  • Stay on top of your projects and manage regular campaign and client status updates.
  • Manage your workload across multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with the marketing landscape, advertising strategy, and trends in social media and feel confident to share your opinions with the wider team and client.
  • Offer advice and assist junior members of the team, and work with senior colleagues to develop your skills.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior members of the team, fostering their professional growth and development.


Requirements:

  • 6 years + experience working in Client Leadership at a creative social media agency, most recently as an Account Director.
  • Experience managing integrated advertising campaigns, with a particular focus on social media.
  • Excellent client handling skills with a strong understanding of client requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to executives within client organisations.
  • An understanding of brand campaigns, strategic thinking, commercial advertising, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple projects across multiple clients.
  • Project management skills and experience working on project management systems.
  • Enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Google suite to produce client documents.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
