100 ton & 60 ton Crane Operators

100ton & 60ton crane operator required for a November start with our client. Long term local work – 40 hours per week with the possibility of more if required. Engineering/ construction environment. £18 - £25 per hour subject to employment status and experience. All licenses must be valid and in date. Responsibilities will be: * Operate cranes and hoists * Transfer loads to construction sites and discharge safely * Bind loads to cranes * Inspect equipment and machinery * Keep and update maintenance and activity log * Carry out basic repairs to machines * Coordinate with ground operators and interpret hand and verbal signals * Follow safety guidelines and protocols Skills and requirements * Working experience handling different types of cranes * Accuracy and attention to detail * Relevant certification (e.g. NCCCO) is preferred
