Vehicle Appraiser

Vehicle Appraiser Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Working Hours: 42.5 Hours per week to include weekends Salary: £26,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Igloo is recruiting a Vehicle Appraiser on behalf of our client, a leading automotive company. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing part exchange vehicles, ensuring accurate pricing, and managing the auction disposal process. Responsibilities: * Assess vehicles, considering factors such as condition, mileage, history and other factors to determine accurate valuation. * Communicate effectively with the sales team to explain appraisal results. * Drive each of the potential part exchange vehicles to help identify mechanical issues. * Select vehicles for resale or auction and manage the paperwork and logistics for those being sold at auction. Ideal Candidate: * Experience in vehicle appraisal or a similar role in the automotive sector. * Strong communication skills to interact with the sales team. * Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks. * Proficient in appraisal and auction platforms. * Holds a full UK driving licence. If you have experience in vehicle valuations, vehicle appraising or conducting vehicle inspections, and working with used vehicles, this role could be for you.
