Business Development Manager (EWI, Cladding, Render) Basic salary circa £50K (dependent on experience) plus performance related bonus + Car (Or Car Allowance) + Laptop + Mobile Telephone. 25 Days Holiday plus England / Wales Bank Holidays. The Company Our client is a market leading supplier of external wall insulation and specialist render systems, with a long history of technical excellence in the industry, spanning over 40 years of supplying both the newbuild and retrofit construction sectors. As a purpose-led business, they work within sectors that make real positive impacts on society and proactively address the country’s three major current crises - cost of living, health and climate, whilst supporting the UK’s progress towards meeting net zero targets. An exciting opportunity has arisen to generate and support growth in demand and supply of their external wall insulation systems into schemes driven by the requirement on social housing providers to decarbonize their housing stock, and the wider decarbonisation agenda. The company is therefore seeking a Business Development Manager to help target and service this growing market in conjunction with the extensive exemplary technical support services the company provides and the established wider sales and marketing function. The Role Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic opportunities within the social housing retrofit sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering solutions into this market and be able to demonstrate a history of tangible engagement with social housing providers and main contractors at all levels servicing this sector. Skills * Ability to engage with senior construction professionals and other stakeholders. * Relationship builder. * Excellent communicator (verbal and written). * Presentation skills. * Basic understanding and experience of Microsoft Software and general IT literacy. * Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment. Experience * Understanding of the construction process and market. * Minimum 3 years’ experience working within the retrofit housing sector. * Minimum 3 years’ experience promoting technical construction products. * Knowledge of the energy efficiency market – preferred, but not essential. Key Measurables Include (But not exclusively) * Existing Relationship Development * New Relationship Development * Formal Strategic Supply Agreements * Appointments * Presentations Location * Ideally situated in the Midlands but for the right candidate the location is not imperative. The role will be national and may have a requirement for travel and staying away from home for short periods
