Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager for Consumer Electronics to lead and grow our relationships with key retail partners in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer electronics, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, and at least 2 years of experience as an account manager. Your primary focus will be on managing and expanding our business with major accounts, including Currys and Argos.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth with key retail partners.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, including Currys and Argos.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, promotional activities, and pricing strategies align with account plans.
  • Monitor account performance, analyse sales data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with retail partners to maximize profitability.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decisions.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Consumer Electronics industry. Experience with headphones is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Account Manager with a proven track record of managing and growing retail accounts.
  • Mandatory experience working with Currys and Argos is essential for this role.
  • Experience with other key accounts, such as Very, John Lewis, and Costco, is highly beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
