Electrician

Electrician Harrogate, £30000, on-call pay and overtime available, public sector benefits, 37.5 hours per week. Immediate opportunity for an Electrician with experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, refrigeration or similar to undertake a day shift, site-based maintenance role. The role: Attending breakdowns and undertaking planned and preventative maintenance Working with plant and associated equipment, heating, ventilation and boiler controls, alarm systems, Assisting in the installation of new plant equipment, HVAC installation, and maintenance work Building control and automation, Hot and Cold water systems, security access control. Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures and request the supply of goods and or services as necessary. Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary. Follow planned maintenance schedules. The Person: Experience working in manufacturing, Industrial, facilities, buildings maintenance or commercial-based electrical roles. A can do attitude and a proven background and a stable career in engineering. A recognised and registered CITB or EITB apprenticeship and minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
