This role will be working in the Commercial division and working closely onsite with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.

This role will be working closely with the Senior Estimator who will be retiring in the future and therefore this opportunity has plenty of opportunity to progress to be a senior member of the team

The role of an Electrical Estimator:

• Electrical installation experience is desired
• Electrical estimating experience is required
• Responsible for creating compliant quotations from tender documents
• Once the quote has been converted and agreed with the client, you will be producing a hand over as well as attending the pre-construction meetings
• Negotiate supplier and sub contract labour costs
• Prepare proposals to secure new business
• Establish new tender opportunities by understanding the job specifications
• Attend site to carry out walkthroughs to cross reference drawings
• Communicate directly with the client to identify any unclear specifications
• Attend site reviews, tender reviews and tender and project hand overs
