Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer Location: Silverstone, Northants Job Type: Permanent Our client, high performance design and engineering solution provider within the Automotive industry are looking to hire a Quality Engineer! Role and Responsibilities – In this role you will look to define, create and manage a strategy for meeting customer quality requirements, ensuring standards are met to meet success levels. Other responsibilities include: Managing and continuously improving an agile quality management system and team and support FMEA activities Utilising 8D principles as a basis for effective problem resolution and able to facilitate the resolution of complex, cross functional issues Provide guidance to the inspection team and ensuring quality best practices are being followed Managing and continuously improving an agile quality management system and team Experience or Qualifications – Degree educated or proven experience in an engineering environment (ideally automotive) Understanding and auditing experience of ISO9001 Ability to interrogate and analyse FEA, CFD and simulation techniques as appropriate Evidence of customer facing experience to enhance and improve standards Candidates who currently are a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, QMS Engineer, Process Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Engineer may be suitable for this position.
