About the Company:Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Buyer who will play a crucial role in delivering an efficient procurement function at a critical time for the company. The successful candidate will be aiming to achieve and maintain optimal procurement solutions for the product line and related services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the supply chain to ensure effective procurement practices are upheld.About the Role:Key Responsibilities:Vendor Management: Ensure the selection and management of appropriate vendors, with a focus on enhancing vendor performance in terms of delivery and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards.Daily Procurement: Regularly update and maintain PSR/Procurement requirement lists, arranging the procurement of necessary goods and services to meet operational needs.ERP System Maintenance: Manage the ERP system with respect to the procurement function, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.Quotation Support: Assist various teams by obtaining cost estimates for parts and assemblies, as well as providing delivery information for new projects.Supply Chain Communication: Act as the primary contact for supply chain activities, including the RFQ process, purchasing, and providing regular status updates.Core Values Promotion: Uphold and promote the company's core values.Qualifications:Degree level or equivalent relevant experienceAbility to liase and negotiate at various levelsGood knowledge of procurement practice with existing supplier network
