Surveyor

Consortium is proud to be working with our client in their search for a highly skilled Surveyor. This role, based in Driffield with the requirement to travel across the UK, offers the opportunity to take a leading role in delivering detailed and accurate survey data for a variety of projects. You'll work closely with Survey Technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and contributing to the success of key engineering initiatives.
Surveyor Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out precision surveys across multiple sites, including topographical and structural projects.
• Lead the setup and preparation of survey instruments, ensuring equipment is fully operational.
• Supervise survey activities and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Generate accurate reports, plans, and 3D models from collected data to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including landowners and engineers, to ensure smooth project coordination.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on all projects.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying, preferably with exposure to engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical skills in using surveying equipment and software.
• The ability to manage and coordinate survey activities, ensuring the timely delivery of results.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.

Surveyor Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
