Job Opportunity: Maintenance Technician Location: 2 Sites - Bethnal Green and Islington Salary: £32,000 £35,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Operations Team, supporting residential properties in Islington and Bethnal Green. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure our buildings are kept in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep. * Respond to both urgent and non-urgent maintenance issues * Liaise with resident services manager and property manager to ensure everything is in working order * On call emergency requirements if needed/necessary * Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly. * Respond quickly to maintenance requests from residents and management. * Supervise and coordinate with contractors, ensuring all work meets high standards. * Keep work areas and storage spaces clean and organised. * Water, fire alarm and other H&S checks Additional Details: * No driver's license or personal vehicle required. * All necessary tools will be provided on-site. * Parking is available at each location. * Expenses for Maidenhead site visits covered Experience: * Prior residential maintenance experience mandatory * Joinery, carpentry, painting and decorating skills desirable * Have fantastic customer facing skills * Be a friendly, professional and courteous individual * Passionate about personal appearance, presentation and conduct * Comply with policies and procedures Information on benefits will be provided once role is discussed.
