Counter Assistant

We are recruiting for aCounter Sales Assistant to work with our client Murdocks Builders Merchants in Duncrue Road, Belfast. The role will be full-time working Monday to Thursday 7.30am until 5pm and Friday 7.30am until 4pm. The work pattern will also consist of one 7am start per week and once every three weeks required to work a Saturday 8am until 12.30noon. Initially this role will be on a temporary basis for 3 months with the hourly rate of £14. The successful candidate will need to provide excellent customer service and maintain knowledge of products. The main tasks will include upselling products, operating an in-house stock system, assisting the Shop Manager with merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness and cash handling.
