SOUS CHEF, LEEDS, EVENTS COMPANY, £32,000Benefits include:£32K salaryPaid overtime5 days over 7Menu autonomy alongside group exec chef for the rosette level menusworking from a Leeds based production kitchenworking on various sporting, corporate and private large masque events Yorkshire-wideCompany support in working towards further progressionPurpose built production kitchens and satellite kitchens at multi venuesPension scheme Great work/life balanceabove average holidayspaid flexi time in off seasonWe are recruiting an experienced sous chef chef for our market leading clients who operate this outside catering company supplying bespoke event catering to clients throughout Yorkshire & beyond, from Racecourses, private events and Stadia.With the head offices and productions kitchens based in Leeds, our clients are currently looking to recruit a professional events chef to work in the production kitchen in Leeds and head up the events in the various venues alongside the head chef.The idea chef will be able to demonstrate:-Have experience working in a fresh food background, and working within events or banqueting-Have experience working within a management team to produce 1st class service and results-Understand local and seasonal produce to assist the Head chef in the menu planning-Have a sound understanding of costings, labour and GP's-Be competent leading events where needed-A driver would be ideal, as you may be required to drive the kitchen trucks to venues.-Have experience maintaining high standards of food hygiene, due diligence, HACCP recording and latest allergen regulationsThis would suit an experience Sous chef, or head chef looing for a fantastic work/life balance and working in challenging and changing surroundings on a weekly basis, it is never dull as an event caterer!With a very competitive salary, a fantastic work life balance, with some weeks down to 2-3 days a week, and a very high level of food & service standards, this is a fantastic position for the right career minded chef who is looking for a fresh challenge.If this sounds like the ideal position for you then please send your CV through the link here, or call Eddy in the Dish hospitality offices here in Leeds
