Interim Health and Safety Advisor

Principal People are excited to be partnered with a well-established Health and Safety Consultancy, who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join them on a short term cover on one of their projects with a prestigious client of theirs (9 days).

This role will be based in the Preston area and the successful candidate will be required to complete daily site inspections and walks, provide up to date audits and reports of the site and to be the point of contact for any Health and Safety concerns contractors may have on site.

This will be to cover 9 consecutive days from 19th-27th Oct including the associated weekends.

They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay a daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35). The requirement for this role is 10/11 hour shifts with occasional earlier finishes.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:

• NEBOSH General qualified (or Equivalent)
• Have experience working on construction projects within a manufacturing environment
• Be available for an immediate start. (19th - 27th Oct)
• Have an understanding of CDM regulations.
• Be an engaging, strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
