What you'll do

As a Balance Sheet Forecasting Manager, you’ll assist with producing the bank's Funding & Liquidity plan under base and stress scenarios, including proposing bank level funding & liquidity plans and actions.

You’ll also:

  • Assist in the delivery of the funding & liquidity plans, including 9+3 budget cycle, ICAAP, Bank of England’s annual stress test, EBA stress tests, and ad-hoc scenarios
  • Plan for forecasts and recommended actions for both internal and external use
  • Obtain, review and challenge business franchise and function inputs to the Funding & Liquidity forecasting process
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with funding & liquidity risk appetites and supporting measures over the planning horizon, and recommend remediating actions as appropriate
  • Assist in the integration of the Group funding, liquidity and Holding Company plans, with consideration to Capital & Treasury P&L implications
  • Collaborate with SMEs to deliver enhanced forecasting capabilities

The skills you'll need

A good understanding of accounting, especially in the financial services is essential. An understanding of Funding & Liquidity is desirable but not essential.

You’ll also need:

  • An accountancy, banking or treasury qualification
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
