Our client’s prominent Project Finance team provide unrivalled access to expertise.


The Team


The team is involved in large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, and have an exhaustive understanding of the crucial challenges and risks involved. They represent sponsors, multilateral institutions, developers, equity investors, financial institutions, institutional investors, governments, contractors, utilities and regulatory bodies in the procurement, development, financing, acquisition, construction and operation of a wide range of complex infrastructure and energy projects across the EMEA region and Central Asia.


The Role


Candidates will have a broad diet of work, that will include, but not be limited to, advising private and public sector clients, funders and consortia on the financing of projects across all sectors.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Assisting in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of project finance transactions.
  • Collaborating with clients on major infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Providing comprehensive legal support on large-scale financings and refinancings.
  • Developing innovative solutions to complex legal and regulatory challenges.
  • Playing an active role in business development activities.


Key Requirements


The ideal candidate will have experience working within a project finance team with 2 - 4 PQE, and will ideally have an excellent academic record.


Our client will consider those who are more specialised looking to broaden skill set and very much open to Associates from Australia and New Zealand.


You will ideally also:


  • be a qualified Solicitor, ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction;
  • have experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of finance documents, including common terms agreements and intercreditor arrangements, with limited supervision, up to financial close;
  • have experience with development financial institutions and export credit agencies would be beneficial;
  • have proven experience of assisting in complex multi-jurisdictional matters;
  • be able to display excellent technical legal drafting skills; and
  • have strong client-service approach.


Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor.
