Please speak to one of our Talent Acquisition team for more information. An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Business Partner to join our Group Regulatory & Compliance team. Your Role and What You'll Be Doing As a Compliance Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for providing complex advice and resolution to the business to ensure that it is able to meet its regulatory and legal obligations. You’ll be a subject matter expert within the General Counsel team, managing and guiding Associates and Partners of the business, providing advice, reports and regulatory guidance to those individuals in a proactive manner as and where required. Exact duties will include: Assisting Officers and Analysts with their project work Educating and presenting to the GCT and wider business Delivering training to fee earners and new joiners to GCT Thinking commercially when providing advice to the business Providing suggestions and ideas in line with firm wide projects Assisting the Manager/s with project work to improve processes Acting as a point of contact and escalation for your business area Providing compliance assurance and file review support on ad hoc projects Drafting papers and reports where necessary for the Manager and wider business Autonomously undertaking mid-complexity matters on a daily basis with limited supervision Ensuring new members of the team are trained to the required standard and oversees ongoing team training Dealing with queries with guidance and supervision, escalating to the General Counsel Manager when necessary Making suggestions for improvements within the team and wider business and assisting with the implementation. About You We're looking for an experience Compliance Officer who has demonstratable experience working with senior stakeholders across compliance matters. Our ideal candidate will have the following: Demonstrable accuracy and attention to detail skills Good communication skills both written and verbal The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Demonstrable experience working within the legal sector Demonstrable experience working within a Compliance department and undertaking audits Ability to network and proactively build relationships across a range of internal departments Our Benefits - What We Can Offer You 25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.
