Key skills:3+ years’ experience in a PR or corporate communications role, ideally (but not necessarily)Knowledge of the Corporate PR work, financial, crisis, M&AExcellent writing, editing and project management skillsStrong verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage various internal and external stakeholdersA proactive, can-do, independently minded attitudeProficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, email marketing, and social mediaA track record of successful digital campaign management and executionAbility to generate new ideas and innovative strategiesStrategic thinking with the ability to execute at both global and local levelsExpertise in digital analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-makingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to speak French would be an advantageOverview:We are seeking a Global Communications Manager to support the Global Marketing Director in all areas of communications and PR. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong, collaborative relationships at all levels and will possess strong interpersonal and persuasive skills that inspire others, via written and verbal communications – whether via a brief, POV, or presentation. Put simply, the role’s primary objective is to raise awareness, perception, and consideration of the network both internally and externally. This will include earned (i.e. PR), owned (i.e. content, social), paid (i.e. partnerships) media and events. As communications is a fast-paced environment, you must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. You will have a natural ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while also being able to think strategically and creatively. You will be key in driving internal growth, collaboration and influencing key leadership across multiple disciplines in the global network. As a confident communications professional, you are able to brief clearly and concisely, articulating the vision for an idea so that markets/agencies and production teams can understand and implement locally. Ultimately, your work will help us to drive fame and visibility for the collective, initiatives and industry-leading intelligence through communications. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day digital communications, PR and content, and will assist on core events across the company’s global operations (this may include some travel). It will involve coordinating with international teams, understanding diverse market dynamics, and implementing initiatives that resonate on a global scale. Job responsibilities:PRWorking alongside the Global Marketing Director to lead PR across H/Advisors as the global brand – including news announcements (drafting, managing approvals, selling in), thought leadership (including ghost writing for agency leadership as required), personal profile-raising and feature opportunities. Managing and drafting award / league tables entries etc - i.e. Provoke Global network league and awards, Global PR Week League table, Chambers & Partners etc. Developing and maintaining a PR ‘pipeline’. Tracking and saving press coverage and some reporting, as required. Maintaining up-to-date media lists. Ensuring ‘hygiene’ material, such as biographies, headshots and boilerplates, are kept up-to-date and of high-quality. EventsInvestigating and securing speaking opportunities for H/Advisors leadership and the agencies’ clients. Assessing and advising on paid-for opportunities (i.e. sponsorship). Supporting the wider marketing team on owned events, i.e. in-person events, webinars, podcasts, etc. Digital Working with the Global Marketing Director to develop the global digital/content strategy for the network, and then executing. This will involve working closely with the other agencies in the wider network. Managing social media platforms (including paid social plans) for H/Advisors, working closely with the Global Marketing Director and marketing teams in the network on content sharing, amplification and best practice across divisional channels. Generating regular, engaging content and campaigns for these channels. Managing the H/Advisors website, including updates, analysis and tracking of content. Content Devising ongoing global content calendar to cover all marketing and communications channels ensuring a steady and regular flow of content development. Working with the Global Marketing Director and wider network to create and deliver material for other internal and external communications, ensuring content is engaging, visually creative and on brand i.e. newsletters, presentations, etc. Working with the wider network and marketing teams to maximise content and marketing opportunities within paid and non-media partnerships. Building, nurturing and effectively managing stakeholder relationships, enhancing communication flows with the local agencies to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives. Demonstrating creativity and initiatives in overcoming obstacles and finding innovative solutions.
