Job Requirements / Description
My client specialises in providing high-quality construction training and assessment. With a commitment to safety, precision, and excellence, they are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Construction Assessor to join the team and contribute to their mission of excellence and safety in construction.
The Construction Assessor will be responsible for assessing learners in Construction to national standards set by awarding bodies such as SQA and CITB. This role requires an individual with a Learning and Development background, however further training on the role will be provided. There will be travel and overnight stays involved with the role.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide guidance and assessment to learners.
Deliver short training courses as required.
Complete compliance paperwork accurately.
Provide regular updates on learner progress.
Develop learning material to assist learners progress.
Attend regular meetings.
Meet individual KPIs and contribute to team KPIs.
Undertake standardisation activities.
To follow policies and procedures that are in place to support the quality assurance process.
Qualifications:
Three years occupational experience in a construction or health & safety related supervisory / management role.

Health and Safety Qualification
Education and Training Award Level 3
A1 / D32/D33/ Ld9di Assessor Award or equivalent
SVQ knowledge and experience
