VM Merchandiser & Store Design Manager

This is an amazing opportunity for a creative and confident individual to join an innovative beauty company as VM Merchandiser and Store Design Manager, based in London.As VM Merchandiser and Store Design Manager, your role will be to ensure the brand’s merchandising guidelines are implemented and adhered to. You’ll also be responsible for project management with a designated shop fitter who you will work with during the post installation process.The role will require you to be a close liaison with RAMS, AMs and CMs for on the ground merchandising implementation, as well as liaising with shop fitters, stock and sales department, and working with the brand on the design process. You’ll be handling the creation and distribution of counter planograms, planning and ordering of counter light box pictures and POS signage, forecasting and ordering counter merchandising material as well as performing regular competitor analysis.Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll ensure the marketing calendar is applied to counter merchandising along with all POS and window material that is approved by the Marketing Manager, the Director and retail groups.Maintenance of store merchandising databases is critical to this role. Where possible being on site to check on installations and doing regular store visits will be required to ensure counters are merchandised correctly.This is a 6 month contract role initially.Our client is looking for someone with experience in visual merchandising. Experience within the beauty industry would also be desirable.The perfect candidate will be methodical, acutely attentive to detail, have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complexity.
