Location: London Salary: 70,000 Per Year Posted on: 17/09/2024 Remediation Project Manager Role – Job DescriptionMy Client is  looking for a Project Manager to join and contribute to a market leading multi-disciplined civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, remediation and demolition company for their growing ground remediation and regeneration department. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing earthworks, ground remediation, decommissioning and land regeneration projects, ensuring they are run safely, on budget and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.About the ClientMy client can combine civil engineering with remediation works as Principal Contractor, adding value by reducing project costs / programmes and other health, safety & environmental risks.and are a market leading multi-disciplined company. The company as a whole, provide a comprehensive range of services to site, from enabling works through to full contract works, operating in both the principal and sub contractor role as required. Covering areas across the UK as required by clients. About the roleDevelop remediation plans based on environmental assessments and regulatory requirements.Define project scope, budget, timeline, and resources needed.Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, environmental consultants, and subcontractors.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines.Track project progress and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies.Identify potential risks and hazards on-site.Implement health and safety protocols to protect workers and the public.Provide training and oversight to ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.Skills and qualities requiredExperienced Project Manager with significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of contaminated land remediation projects.Excellent understanding of Health and Safety requirements, and Industry legislation and regulations, ensuring projects are legally compliant.Awareness and understanding of operational and financial targets.Ability to direct a team to deliver the business’ primary objectives with the ability to mentor and motivate where necessary.Relevant technical qualifications; Degree/ HNC/ HND, etc in geology, engineering or environmental science, or similar.Be able to present, analyse and interpret data.Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner.IT skills – MS Office suite.Integrity, Accountable, Flexible.Full Driving licence a necessity.Salary & Remuneration PackageCompetitive salary depending on experienceBonus Scheme Contributory Pension SchemeCompany Car / Allowance
