1:1 Teaching AssistantEbbsfleetRikama Education Ltd are currently working with a primary school in Ebbsfleet who are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant.As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis with that need additional support. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant with students and supporting learning in EYFS, KS1 &/or KS2 & a good understanding of SEN.The ideal candidate would have a strong track record of working in a 1:1 setting with a strong knowledge of SEN.The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.Should you be accepted for this post, you will be rewarded by:The role:Provide 1:1 and small group supportManage any challenging behaviours appropriatelyFollow the Early Years frameworkIt is essential that you have:Previous experience working with EYFS students.Have a minimum Level 2 qualification.A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.Experience working with ASD students or special needs experience.These are full time, long term positions working Monday-Friday, 8:30 - 3:30pm, term time only.
