The role of the Financial Accountant is crucial in ensuring that an organisation's financial records are accurate, compliant, and informative. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, cashflow management, compliance, management accounting, tax preparation and submissions, audit support and contribution towards the continuous improvement of the department.
The role will also have oversight responsibilities for building maintenance for our main Glasgow site and a serviced office in Sunderland.

* Group Client Credit Control
* Bank Account Management
* Maintain Business Invoice Finance Facility
* Review & Present Cashflow Forecast & Analysis
Monthly
* Fixed Asset Management & CAPEX Reporting
* Management Accounts for Specified Cost Centres
* HSBC Invoice Finance Reconciliations
* Office for National Statistics Submissions
Quarterly
* HMRC VAT Returns
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Management of all Control Accounts
Annual
* Lead External Audit for Statutory Accounts Completion
* HMRC PSA Returns
* Business Insurance Management
Ad-Hoc
* Review and Improvement of Finance Process and Controls
* Finance Systems Management & Control (SAP / Compleat)
* Support on Finance System Migration Project
* Oversight of Building Maintenance and Health & Safetanagement of Estate Services Administrator
*Qualifications & Experience*
* Recognised Accounting Qualification preferred
* QBE considered
* Proven exeperience in a similar role essential
