Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision engineering? We are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of our client, an industry leader in innovative manufacturing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team, driving process improvements and developing cutting-edge production methods.

The Role:
As the Production Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the production department. You ll help document and refine existing manufacturing techniques, resolve technical issues, and champion continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be involved in the design and implementation of new production methods, from concept development to technician training.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer:

  • Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.
  • Collaborate on internal design reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities early in the design process.
  • Participate in the design and build of project-specific tooling and equipment.

What We're Looking for from the Production Engineer:

  • Hands-on problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Background in precision electro-mechanical equipment manufacturing (desirable).
  • Interest in 3D printing and experience with epoxies (desirable).

As a Production Engineer you will have:

  • Minimum HND in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in process improvement and knowledge of ISO9001, 5S, and LEAN manufacturing.
  • CAD software experience (ideally Inventor).
