Field Services Engineer

A bit about the role: • My client is looking for a highly motivated individual, who is focused on giving technical assistance on power products and solutions. • The Field Service Engineer will be responsible providing technical support in electrical distribution solutions on both Single and 3 phase high voltage configurations. • Within the role of the Field Service Power Engineer, you will be helping on the SME pre and pro sales and also providing solutions. • In the role of a Field Service Power Engineer, you will be required to deliver and maintain the SCADA & process control systems. • Within the role of this Field Service Power Engineer, this will include all phases of projects including delivery, documentation, user requirements, application & commissioning and general continuous maintenance. • This role has a one week in four call out rota. • Due to this Service Power Engineer being a field service-based position, this position will have a company car included. What’s required: • Full UK Driving License. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Willingness to travel and stay away from home dependent on the project needs. • A clear demonstration of commissioning, testing and fault finding in electrical/electronic systems, such as SME in either single or three phase power distribution solutions. • Both proficient and confident in field wiring, calibration & diagnostics. • Certified Chartered Engineer certification preferred. Additional certifications, such as Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Professional Engineer (PE) license, are advantageous but not required. • Good understanding of single and 3 phase transformer technology.
