Job Requirements / Description
About the contractor My client is a Tier 2 Self Delivering, Civil Engineering contractor with a very healthy pipeline of works. They are currently operating at a turnover of £45M with plans to continue to expand this. They are very multi-disciplined within Construction & Civil Engineering, working on multi story car parks, bridge infrastructure, highways infrastructure, groundworks and rail infrastructure. The projects that they work on range in value from £700,000 - £8M. I have worked with them for two years and they continue to impress me with how they operate the business and how they constantly deliver for their clients. About the opportunity Are you a Civil Engineering graduate or do you have experience on sites having come up from the tools? Are you looking to work alongside an experienced Project Manager that can guide you and help you progress in your career? My client is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager due to expansion and a healthy pipeline of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Project Manager on various sites in the UK ranging from Leeds to Norwich to Milton Keynes. The projects that you will be involved in will include new multi-story car parks, highways improvement works, major earthworks, bridges and highway schemes. You will be expected to travel between all these sites on a regular basis and will be provided with a car and a fuel card in order to do so. Benefits & Rewards My client has a very low staff turnover and they’re looking to continue to offer long term stability for the candidate who joins them. On top of long-term stability, they are offering up to £35,000 + £6,500 car allowance for the successful candidate. The package also includes a pension, healthcare and death in service. About the requirements This role would suit a graduate or someone who has around 1 years’ experience. The most important thing will be your attitude, your ability to learn and fit into the team and drive to progress through the company in the coming years. If you have UK experience working on infrastructure projects, covering drainage, piling, concrete works or earthworks that would be ideal. You will also need to have CSCS and SMSTS cards
