The Role

This role reports into the Head of operations and is a vital component of the customer service experience. The office environment is extremely fast paced with multiple projects on the go and clients requiring scheduling and project documentation, updates and progress reports. Multi tasking whilst maintaining attention to detail is paramount. We have found it difficult to recruit experienced administrators in this field and are looking for strong administrators witha strong customer service focus and transferable skills.

Summary

Doocey Group is a multi-disciplined, civil engineering and utility contract operating nationally, providing a range of utility and civil engineering services as well as single services. Established for more than 40 years, we are framework partners with several major utility companies, including South Staffordshire Water, National Grid and property developers such as Persimmons. Specific Responsibilities/Tasks

  • High level of organisation with the ability to multitask
  • End to end project coordination to capture key information, monitoring progress of designs, construction phases and completions to ensure compliance is maintained
  • Attention to detail
  • Programming on and offsite works as led by client programmes to include point of connections for Gas, Water and Electric networks
  • Regularly updating our internal systems and monitoring progress of projects
  • Attending regular scheduled team meetings for daily progress, weekly planning and performance management.
  • General administrative duties in line with a role of this nature
  • Excellent communication skills/customer service
  • Understanding and adapting to different processes client requirements
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments, whilst being the main point of contact for clients and external customers
  • Requesting designs and management through to approval, understanding and adapting to different processes client requirements.
  • Teamwork the team need to ensure that all projects succeed not just the ones you are indivually responsible for
  • Time Management
  • Able to work under pressure, to individual and team project deadlines. The majority of the work is time bound activities

Qualifications & Training

  • GCSE 4 in English and Maths and administrative or technical certifications are desirable.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A good eye for detail
  • The ability to work and contribute as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
