Sap Solutions Architect

Job Description:- Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements, translating them into effective SAP SAC Planning solutions. Design and develop comprehensive planning models within SAP SAC, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic goals and objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure successful implementation and deployment of SAC solutions. Conduct thorough requirements analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement, providing actionable insights to clients. Lead requirement gathering sessions to define data acquisition, virtual data models & reports in SAC Planning and SAC Analytics. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for business process design and optimization within the context of SAC Planning & Analytics. Actively participate in project planning, scoping, and estimation activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Create mock-ups and visual aides to communicate functional designs internally and to customers Utilize the Analytics Designer tool to create intuitive and visually compelling analytical applications, incorporating advanced features such as scripting and custom widgets. Develop functional / technical specification documents and design best in class SAC technical solutions to support planning/analytical/reporting activities Develop and coach the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity Design, build, and test advanced data models & stories in SAC Planning & Analytics Architect Planning and Analytical Application creation and scripting. Architect, Design & Deliver effective planning solutions in SAC Planning. Develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. Must have skills/experience Overall 10+ years of experience in designing and building Financial Planning & Budgeting solutions 4+ years of Hands on Devt experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Experience in designing and implementing SAC Planning solutions across multiple full implementation lifecycles Strong understanding of business model strategy and business process design principles, with the ability to align technical solutions with overarching business objectives. Experience on both SAP S/4 HANA and Non-SAP Data source for consuming data in SAC using both Live and Import Data connections. Knowledge of group reporting, Central finance and their use in SAC planning is required. Experience in SAC Data Actions, Advanced calculations & Value Driver Tree, etc. Experience on Admin (Security / Access) part of SAC Experience with Analytical Application/advanced stories creation and scripting using Java Script Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborate with functional teams to translate user stories and problem statements into project/solution requirements. Partner with functional and product teams to facilitate the deployment and adoption of delivered solutions. Collaborate with extended Data and Analytics teams to design data pipelines to and from SAC. Develop solutions quickly through an Agile process utilizing incremental minimal viable products to obtain user feedback and iterate towards a final solution. Provide recommendations, develop customized solutions as needed, and manage follow-up & evaluation for all SAP planning requirements. Developing new Planning scenarios, interfaces, cubes & other reporting structures, as and when identified by business needs/projects. Assist with identified stabilization & simplification initiatives to improve overall SAP Analytics planning solution processes & performance. Taking ownership and ensuring high quality results Desirable skills Experience with United Nations / Large Non-Governmental Organizations Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis and blueprint design Familiarity with SAP HANA, SAP BW or other enterprise data warehouse tools Experience in Designing SAP HANA Views and consume them in SAP Analytics on Cloud. Knowledge of investigating data flows to and from SAC with SAP BW, SAP BPC systems, SAP S/4 and other non SAP sources Proven ability to analyze source systems and investigate data extracts for both SAP and non-SAP sources. Strong understanding of financial analytics and experience in delivering finance and HCM analytics
