Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Horizon Teachers is delighted to be recruiting for a Secondary School Art Teacher position in Greenwich, starting in November 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and nurture artistic talent within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
Foster creativity and artistic expression through a diverse range of media.
Prepare students for GCSE Art coursework and examinations.
Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with the wider teaching team to create cross-curricular projects.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their artistic growth.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Specialism in Art with experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
A passion for inspiring creativity and artistic skills in young people.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
