Position Overview
As a Wealth Management Advisor reporting directly to the regional head and the company founders, you will provide expert financial advice and personalized investment strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering tailored financial solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Originate, manage and maintain a high-net-worth client portfolio, offering comprehensive financial advice, solutions, and services tailored to meet our clients’ wealth management needs.
- Develop and implement a business development strategy to expand the client base, focusing on wealth management products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring long-term client retention.
Investment Management:
- Collaborate with the Investment Manager to monitor and review investment performance, providing regular reports and updates to clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors, ensuring that the office’s operations align with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess their risk profile and progress towards their financial goals, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and a comprehensive understanding of their financial goals and needs.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services to clients, leveraging the firm’s resources and expertise.
- Foster a positive office culture that promotes teamwork, employee engagement, and a high level of customer service.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) would be a plus.
- Work Experience: At least 10 years of experience in wealth management, with significant experience in a leadership role, ideally with international exposure.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven track record of managing and growing high-net-worth client relationships.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand clients’ financial goals and convey financial concepts effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
