Project Manager

We're looking for a Civils Project Manager to join our Hinkley Point C team based in Bridgwater, Somerset. for this position you must have strong experience in Civil Engineering, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures.

 

Location: Somerset, Bridgwater

Contract: Permanent, Full time 

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Manager you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team.  We are looking for you to bring your experience in construction projects that involve concrete frames to the team. You'll need to make sure that the tasks are running on time, adhering to all HSE regulations and within budget. manage resources (people, finance and physical assets) in order to fulfil the Fish Return System safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit on projects.

 

Your day to day as a Project Manager will include:

  • Control of technical documentation and submittal on time and complying with Kier and project Kier and project-specific standards.
  • Leading the day-to-day coordination of site activities, including daily coordination meetings, weekly client progress meetings and subcontractors progress meetings.  
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders involved in the Fish Return System.
  • Coordinate with commercial planning and senior management to raise required commercial events.
  • Ensuring a safe system at work is followed, and HSE and quality documentation are accurate and timely (Permits, inspections, RAMS briefings, etc.)

  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • Commercial and Contractual awareness
  • Significant experience on projects of significant value from pre-construction to delivery.
